The Panther Athletic Program is a ministry of St. Paul’s Lutheran School and is designed to promote participation in interscholastic sports for both boys and girls in Grades 5-8. St. Paul’s participates in the Lutheran Orange County Athletic League (LOCAL).

Tuesday brought a flurry of action for the 7th and 8th grade student-athletes.

Results

Varsity Football: 19-14 over Zion
JV Football: Postponed
Varsity Basketball: 33-28 over St. John's
JV Basketball: 14-42 loss to Abiding Savior

About Me

Deryl Maxwell: Mr. Maxwell was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, Nebraska with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a minor in Physical Education in 1985. In 1996, Mr. Maxwell earned his Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine. Mr. Maxwell has served as a teacher, coach, Athletic Director, and Principal in his 20+ years in Lutheran Education. In October, 2003, Mr. Maxwell accepted the Call to serve as an Eighth Grade Homeroom and Athletic Director at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Orange County.
