Panther Athletics

The Panther Athletic Program is a ministry of St. Paul’s Lutheran School and is designed to promote participation in interscholastic sports for both boys and girls in Grades 5-8. St. Paul’s participates in the Lutheran Orange County Athletic League (LOCAL).

Congratulations to JV Football!

The JV Panther football team fell to Prince of Peace in the Division II Championship game on Thursday at St. Paul's. Congratulations to Coach Gugel and the JV Panthers on a great season.

About Me

Deryl Maxwell: Mr. Maxwell was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, Nebraska with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a minor in Physical Education in 1985. In 1996, Mr. Maxwell earned his Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine. Mr. Maxwell has served as a teacher, coach, Athletic Director, and Principal in his 20+ years in Lutheran Education. In October, 2003, Mr. Maxwell accepted the Call to serve as an Eighth Grade Homeroom and Athletic Director at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Orange County.
